Vadim Balakin is a professional landscape and wildlife photographer based in Ekaterinburg, Middle Urals, Russia. During this last 5 years, he has been shooting many Arctic locations at Franz Joseph Land, Svalbard, Lofoten Islands. He thinks Arctic and Antarctic regions must be all free from any industry intervention. The ice melting is extremely fast and this causes a climate change that threatens Arctic wild animal populations and the fragile Arctic nature.
