“When I went back to the Arctic, I immediately knew that the North Pole had indeed changed dramatically”
Marc Cornelissen is one of only a handful of polar explorers to have reached both the North Pole (1997) and the South Pole (2001) on foot. When he finished his studies in 1995, he gave up a career as an architect for a life as an adventurer. In 2005, he headed an international team in the Arctic to collect data on climate change. Today his company, Icentials, is working on societal change through collaborative sustainability programs.
