Pôles Nord & Sud is the first French-language general-interest magazine devoted to the polar and sub-polar regions. It covers all specialties, from geopolitics and glaciology to ethnology, the history of polar expeditions and ecology. Written by specialists from many countries, the articles are richly illustrated with scientific documents and photographs. PN&S is intended as a tool for measuring and monitoring the environmental, political, scientific and legal evolution of the poles, which have recently come to the forefront of the international scene due to the amplified effects of global warming.
