Christopher Fletcher is an associate professor of Anthro­pology at the University of Alberta and an associate of the Canadian Circumpolar Institute (CCI). The CCI is an interdisciplinary center that focuses on sustainable communities and advancing the overall understanding of the circumpolar regions. He has worked throughout the Canadian north with Inuit and First Nations commu­nit­ies and is now working with the Sahtu Dene of Deline, NWT.
