“Polar climate variability exerts a strong influence upon climates in Europe and America”
Flavio Justino teaches in the Agricultural Science department of the Federal University of Viçosa-Brazil. After completing a doctorate in meteorology at the Leibniz Institute in Germany, he specialised in tracking the complex interactions between tropical and polar climates that have characterized the dominant mode of climatic variability over the past million years. His research is closely connected with the study of future anthropogenic induced climate change.
