Khoo Swee Chiow was the first Asian and the fourth person in the world to complete the Adventure Grand Slam, reaching the South Pole (1999), the North Pole (2002) and the 7 Summits. A conference speaker and author of numerous books, he climbed Mount Everest twice (1998 and 2006). He made his 2006 Everest ascent with Malaysia’s Vincent Loh and holds two Guinness World Records.
